Does CISA expire? To maintain your CISA certification, you must earn and report a minimum of 120 CPE (continuing professional education) hours over 3 years, of which at least 20 hours must be earned each year.

CISA is not a beginner cert, it is intended for those that have 5 years of IT audit experience (or equivalent in waivers to bring that experience requirement down by 1, 2, or 3 years). If you are staying in finance, the CPA or CFF would be more appropriate for you

The CISA exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions. The exam covers five distinct job practice domains. Raw scores are converted to a scaled score between 200-800. Thorough understanding of each domain's content is crucial for success.
