After completing level A2. 2, you'll be able to: understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).

In your A2 German course at German Institute you will learn to communicate in more detail about family, friends, everyday shopping and work. In order to describe your environment in more detail, you will learn to decline adjectives and to use temporal, causal, modal and local prepositions.

Is it possible to learn German in three months? Yes. Although it is still a short time, you will learn at least a few words that will help you get through A2 fluently. That is why it is critical for language learners to begin as soon as possible in order to make the most of their time.

Split into A1 (Beginner) and A2 (Elementary), this is the basic level required for most people seeking a visa or residence permit in Germany, especially those who are moving to Germany for family purposes. It usually takes between 60 and 200 hours of guided study (classes and homework) to achieve.

Goethe-Zertifikats A1 through C2 do not expire. Many institutions and employers, however, expect the certificate to be dated not more than two years ago.

Working in Germany If you´d like to work in Germany you´ll get by if your German is on level B1/B2 (online test). The certificate issued by GLS is recognized by many employers and even some universities in Germany.
