Course description

Students acquire teamwork skills through collaborative work in multinational mixed groups. Upon completion of this course, students are able to understand and use simple sentences and expressions in conversations on a broad spectrum of familiar topics.

At the A2. 1 level of German, you have command of the language on specific subjects, routine and simple tasks. You can understand and convey messages in German, respond to simple and direct information, have simple face-to-face conversations, and talk about activities you like or dislike.

In your A2 German course at German Institute you will learn to communicate in more detail about family, friends, everyday shopping and work. In order to describe your environment in more detail, you will learn to decline adjectives and to use temporal, causal, modal and local prepositions.

The German language has 6 CEFR levels – starting with A1 (absolute beginner), and ending with C2 (completely fluent).

Whether you are planning to study or work in Germany, it is highly recommended to be proficient in the German language at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

indefinitely For how long is the exam certificate valid? The Goethe-Institute certificates (A1 to C2) are valid indefinitely.

How Long Does It Take To Learn German A2? It will take 150 to 260 hours to complete the A2 level. This level includes the understanding of indirect objective case, prepositions with dative and accusative, reflexive and separable verbs, declension of pronouns, simple future tense, past tense, and passive voice.
